Spray tanning is a process in which a colorless sugar (DHA based) is sprayed onto your skin using a handheld airbrush system.

Enjoy a healthy glow all year round. Made with natural, organic and anti-orange ingredients, a blend of fruit botanicals and natural color complex to deliver a natural tan. Perfect for weddings, prom, vacation, or just for when you want a little color to give you a boost of confidence!

Sprayed onto your skin via a handheld airbrush system. The DHA reacts with the amino acids in the outermost (Epidermis) layer of your skin to create a natural tan. As these skin cells are naturally exfoliated, the color gradually fades – much like a real sun tan. The solution applied has a cosmetic bronzer that allows us to see exactly where the solution is being placed

Dark, loose fitting clothing is best to prevent rubbing and decrease the chances of transferring your tan. Please do not wear any tight fitting clothing (i.e. jeans), as the friction caused can rub your tan while it’s drying. During your spray you can wear whatever’s comfortable to you, a swimsuit, undergarments, or nothing at all!

It takes about 4 – 5 minutes to airbrush the spray tanning solution, and then an additional 5 minutes for the after spray products. In total you can get your glow, and be on-the-go in about 15-20 minutes.

Your spray tan will last about 5 to 10 days and fades gradually throughout this time period. Everyone’s skin naturally exfoliates itself at different rates, so it’s hard to determine exactly when yours will fade completely. The longevity of your tan depends on how fast your body’s exfoliation process is, as well as how well you maintain your tan. We highly recommend moisturizing frequently (2x a day) to help extend the life of your tan, and keep your skin hydrated using a sunless safe moisturizer.

Before

Prepare for your session

  • Exfoliate 24 hours before your session. Pay particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and other dry areas. Wax or shave at least 48 hours before your session. Dotting in pores may appear if you wax or shave too close to your session.

  • If you need to shower the day of, take one at least 3 hours prior to session. DHA needs amino acids to develop your tan so its important to let them rebuild on your skin prior to your session.
  • Arrive to your session with clean, bare skin, free of makeup, sunscreen, moisturizer, deoderant and or perfume
  • During your session you may wear your bathing suit, undergarments or nothing at all, whatever is comfortable for you. Sunless solution typically washes out of most fabrics but could permanently tint lighter colored items.
  • Bring dark loose fitting clothing to wear after your session to avoid rubbing off your spray tan or staining your clothes

After

Results last up to 7 days

  • Development times may vary depending on the type of sunless solution used. Check with your sunless consultant when you are able to have your first rinse following your session.
  • Avoid getting wet during your development period. This includes activities that cause you to sweat.
  • Do not apply any products on top of your developing spray tan. Only after-sunless powders are okay.
  • After your development period has ended, shower lightly in cool/lukewarm water for only a few minutes. Do not use hot water, shower gels, shampoo, or a loofa during this first cleanse. Simply rinse with warm water rubbing gently in circular motions with your hands until the water runs clear. Gently pat skin dry and apply a professional tan extender immediately.

To extend the life of your spray tan:

  • Moisturize daily with professional spray tan extender.
  • Use self-tanning mousse or sprays to touch up areas like the face and legs that will naturally fade faster due to cleansing and shaving.
  • Do not wax while you have a spray tan. A delicate shave with gentle shaving cream is okay.
  • Avoid hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, and long baths as they can strip the tan and cause excessive sweating.
  • Avoid lotions, soaps, and body washes made with sulfates, petroleum, mineral oils or alcohol.
  • Use gentle facial cleansers. Avoid oily and exfoliating products.
  • Do not exfoliate skin until your spray tan fades and you’re ready to remove it.
  • Before your next session, completely remove old spray tan residue using a scrub, exfoliating mitt or other exfoliation practice.
