How does SharpLight hair removal work?

SharpLight DPCTM hair removal system targets your hair follicles and not the surrounding skin. It uses light-based technology to heat each hair follicle and break down its melanin, so that the follicle cannot grow new hair again.

At any given time, around 20-25% of your hair follicles are in their active growth phase at any given time. Only these follicles can be neutralized in your treatment session, so a series of treatments will be required to achieve the level of hair removal you require. Treatments should be repeated until the desired result is achieved.

Most people notice the results around two weeks following the first treatment ,as significantly less hair will grow back. This happens every time you have a treatment until the final results are achieved.

Small area treatments like lips and brows chin take around 15 minutes, with other timescales determined by the surface area of skin that requires treatment.

 

We recommend between 6-10 treatment sessions, around 4-12 weeks apart.
